Music has been used by the enemy to cause much harm. He uses the following strategies to blinden people using music:

1. By manipulating the people who play instruments like keyboards, bass sound and the singers. The music will disturb their spirits and hence not be able to worship God in the spirit. A heavy bass with fuel the flesh and body towards the world and lawlessness.
2. If the Church allows people who do not pray to sing. This makes them to sing in the flesh and hence transmit the same heaviness to the listeners.
3. The devil is pushing singers to only sing to be admired, so that they focus all the attention of the Church to themselves through their beauty, clothes, nudeness, funny dances, and colours.
4. The devil is pushing human beings into stardom or what they call celebs. Many young people wear earrings, coloured hair, and funny braids of hair, bald head as they start to copy demonically initiated people. This will make them to be captured by the spirit of pride and if they miss it be captured by the spirits of depression and suicide.
5. If the Church allows worldly melodies and worldly dances which are very close to Church music. After they accept the initial bits it shall be difficult to eliminate it. The Bible in Joshua 24 says in verse 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
6. If musical groups in churches are in fornication and masturbation, The Lord Jesus shall not manifest in their singing. Singers must live in holiness and be prayerful. We must worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.
7. Musicians who sing for money are worshipping the god of money. They focus all their energy to get money. The sing in any concert to get money. They use the name of God to get money. They do not praise God but the world. They do not sing to glorify God they only seek glory for themselves. They have already fallen into the trap of Satan to exchange their souls for money, fame success and eternal lake of fire.
8. There are musicians who sing to gain music awards and nominations in their pride which they call career. They wish to became famous with heretic gospel songs and even to revenge from past life disappointments. They end up getting some followers who worshiped him as idols. This increases idolatrous people on earth.  All that is built to enrich with the Word of God is a sin.
9. The devil is working to have a third path. Normally, there are only two paths. One for saints and the other for sinners. But the devil is using music to blend the two and form a third path which is mixing the two. Which is lukewarm path. 

10. All songs that glorifies the world and people's ego is satanic. Satan specializes in profane music and he makes songs that praises the world system. This is leading to the new world order.

Let us sing the Word of God. Let us sing Psalms. Let us read and study the Word of God so that we can be inspired with Godly melodies and spiritual songs. Read Colossians 3:16 which says, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

In this verse you can see the three categories of praises which glorify God;

1. Psalms
2. Hymns
3. Spiritual songs
