The revelation of the narrow path to obtain eternal life in Christ Jesus

The narrow path which we must follow

The revelation of the narrow path to obtain eternal life in Christ Jesus

The Lord Jesus told us to seek only two things and then we shall have everything else we need in life added to us! This is amazingly marvelous. I shall briefly tell you the things which make you qualified for the greatest blessings flat form in the universe. It has been a great revelation which the Father mercifully gave me to share with you. Kindly concentrate on every sentence. I have tried to be extra brief. Read the following guiding scriptures.

 Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Romans 1:16-17:  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

John 16:8: And when he [Holy Spirit] is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

The Narrow Path as shown in Fig 1

 This is the narrow path which only a few find it. So dear brethren lets tread carefully so that we do not lose this precious truth on which our eternity depends upon. The Lord Jesus our Saviour paid a great price for us to defeat the devil forever and be in a blessed position here on earth to the glory of God the Father.

The only steps given for a human being to obtain righteousness, holiness, purity and eternal life are these:

Read them aloud, believe them, confess them and act on them with all diligence.

I believe that God loves me and has sent His Son to die for my sins so that I can be forgiven.

 John 3:16: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 Therefore, I should repent. Repentance is the first thing that God requires us to do when we first meet Him. We must know that we are sinners because of our fallen nature. To repent is to turn away from the way of sin and to turn to God. There are only two sins which everybody must repent. The first sin is the sin of self-righteousness. That means to think that we are good enough to please God. God has given us the commandments to show us that we are not able to be to keep his laws. Our perceived good thoughts, deeds and actions are included here. The second sin is called wickedness. This is anything that breaks God’s law. Our bad thoughts, deeds and actions are included here. Our guilt makes us to repent the wickedness more than self-righteousness. But demands that we repent both.  Read the verses below carefully.

 Acts 17: 30:  And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men everywhere to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

 Philippians 3:9:  And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

 Proverbs 28: 13: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

  Then I should believe that Jesus died for my sins on the cross, He was then buried for three days, but God raised [resurrected or created a new Jesus] Him from the dead.

  1 Corinthians 15: 1-4: Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Then, by faith I apply the Blood of Jesus on my life and conscience to wash me clean.

 Hebrews 9: 14: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

 Ephesians 1: 7:  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

 Then, I believe that God has made the resurrected Christ to be His righteousness and has given this resurrected Christ to be also my righteousness.  This means if I believe that God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead and I accept Him to be my righteousness, then God as the judge shall assign His righteousness to me. This is called justification.

 Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

 1 Corinthians 1:30: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

  Romans 2: 21 : But now the righteousness of God without the law is    manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

 Then I demonstrate my faith in the resurrected Christ by being baptised in water to show my repentance to God the Father, my faith in God the Son and my readiness to receive God the Holy Spirit so as to receive His life. It is amazing. During water baptism, the Holy Spirit removes the old nature of sin and creates in me the new nature. That mean I became a new species in Christ. Yes, a new creature.  This is called being born again.

 Mark 16:15-16: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

James 2: 17: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

 Colossians 2:11-14: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

 2 Corinthians 5:17: Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

The, by faith I receive the gift of the Holy Spirit from the God the Father so that He can impart this righteousness in me. The first part was assigning righteousness. This is the experiential part of righteousness. It enables us to be able to follow the path of sanctification.

 Acts 2: 38-39: Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

 Romans 5:17:  For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

 Then voluntarily, I set apart my Spirit, Soul and Body to be instruments of righteousness to that I might serve God’s will. This is called holiness.

Romans 6:19:  I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

 1 Thessalonians 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 Romans 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

 Then, I come to realize that God starts to test my faith so that I can be approved as a true son of God. This is called attaining of purity.

 1 Peter 1:7: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

 Hebrews 12: 6: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

 1 Timothy 5:22: Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.

 Psalms 11:5: The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

  10. If God tries my ways and works and finds that my commitment is only to please Him, Then He allows me into His presence. This is called eternal life.

 Matthew 5:8:  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

John 8:29: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; or I do always those things that please him. or I do always those things that please him. for I do always those things that please him.

 Romans 5: 21: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord
